Russia Wins Miss World 2008

During this Saturday night I was watching the World Show "Miss Universe". It's amazing and very majestical! All the girls, oh, sorry, ladies are soooooo beautiful that it was impossible to take my eyes off such a beauty.
No question, no doubt, Ksenia was the major favorite and she walked away with the crown. She is one of the most beautiful women I’ve seen in all my years covering beauty contests. Tall, poised, regal and beautiful, she did everything as expected. Mmmm Fantastic Russian girl! Congratulations to Russia!!!
Hey Russia, we’re getting a little bit sick of you and your monomaniacal insistence on winning every single ridiculously outdated, culturally-irrelevant talent show this year. It was bad enough when you won the Eurovision Song Consert earlier this year, but now you’ve won Miss World 2008 too.
BRAVO!

Why Not to Become a "Survivor"?!

Actually, I don't like reality shows, but last Thursday while switching the TV channels in the desire to find anything interesting or just to kill the time, I found out an interesting show (as I thought and still think) about the people who live in an uninhabited island. The TV show, as far as I remember, was called "Survivor". It struck me and I was very curious about the show. I liked it and I even have an idea now to try myself as one of those strangers to live in a tribe in an uninhabited island and it really would be my last resort! :D

A Quantum of Solace Proves its Name!

Yesterday I finally found time to watch James Bond movie with Daniel Craig in a leading role "A Quantum of Solace". It's rather cool. the title of the QOS is origional.
A Quantum of Solace was originally the name of an obscure Ian Fleming short story. They say that all James Bond movie titles should be based on a popular saying with the word 'Die' where the word 'Live' should be. I dig the title, though I was kind of hoping for "Never Die Tomorrow Again Forever" or something like that. I think that the title A Quantum of Solace shows sense for Bond's emotional state at the end of Casino Royale. In fact, the film QOS continues one hour after the events of Casino Royal. The word "quantum" means "smallest elemental particle." Metaphorically, it means for this new film that Bond is searching for even just a "quantum," or the "smallest elemental amount". So, I enjoyed the film as it really a great one! And looking forward to watching a new movie.

My Credit Score - How to Raise It Wisely

free credit score report
Some people have had money taken directly out of their account, some people have extremely large purchases in different states and countries, and some people have had loans taken out in their name. These victims are now late on their payments or have large loans taken out in their names; both of which hurt their credit score. Becuase of this, I desided to check my credit score as FICO score should be over 750 points. There are many methods how it's possible to check the score (from using the internet programms/websites to contacting with your credit bureau). It really helps to cope with finicial difficulties. For example, at Free-Credit-Reports.com it's possible to find out all the information to know of a credit score.

Halloween!

Halloween. Halloween. Halloween...
It's the one day of the year (exept, probably, the Christmas or a carnaval party) when all people, who wish, including celebrities, can be everything but their selves. Can you imagine Diddy (a famous repper) in gladiator attire, stands on his Rolls Royce? Strange, but true.
Lindsay Lohan - in a formfitting fireman costume :D
Lisa Rinna- a pirate, looking very glamorous WoW
Heidi Klum - transforms herself into an evil vampire-cat-mouse :S
Kyle McLaughlin - arrives as a injured/murdered/bloodied golf player :)
Stacey Keibler - cute as a button dressed as Raggedy Ann ;)
Petra Nemcova - channels Cleopatra :*
And of course
Paris Hilton - a sexy sailor :O
Nice!!!
Have FUN!!!

San Francisco Shouldn't Become a Brothel!

I've just learnt that in my favourite city San Francisco they may decriminalize prostitution. I'm shocked. It would be the first major U.S. city with the legalized prostitution and everything will depend on the voters who next month must approve Proposition K — a measure that forbids local authorities from investigating, arresting or prosecuting anyone for selling sex.

To make my long story short, I don't wish to make this beautiful city in a brothel. It's going to be another example of how America is being destroyed by the Liberals who believe anything goes.

Life With Credit Cards is Smooth!

best credit card deals

Say what you like, but it's impossible to live without credit cards as well as without internet or a mobile. But there's a problem with the right choice of plastics among the wide range of them. So there's a wise way out, it's to apply for a best credit card online, as I usually do if I need it. It's really very convenient and easy as I discovered one day when I was going for a tour with my friends around the country. I've chosen No Hassle CashSM Rewards for Young Adults and I enjoy all the advantages of it. It's no need to worry about the absence of a good history as it can help to build a history from scratch.

My Attempts to Find a Job

So, I decided to look for a job to become more independent from my parents.
First, I tried to imagine what can I do and what profession will be interesting for me. So, I can play different musical instruments, e.g. a guitar, drum... hmmm but what I can do with all this abilities? To play in a caffes? I am not interested in it but if I don't find anything, I'll have to go there.
There's a variant to become a courier in an office, but it's so boring, to my mind. Maybe a waiter in a caffee like McDonald's will be a good variant for me. LOL I can't imagine myself in this field.
Ok, I should think twice before taking a decision.
Maybe some of you will be able to advise me about a job...

Finincial Crisis

Lots of people not only in the US, but also in the world, worry about the economical situation. I'm not going to discuss the reasons of it, as I'm neither a politician nor an economist. It seems like the Great Depresssion in 1929. The prices are becoming higher and higher, for me it leads to the difficulties of paying my studies at college.
And what is a way out for me?
Just, look for a job.

What is the Best Way to Live?

Yesterday, switching the TV channels from doing nothing, I stumble on a talk-show where they were discussing a problem "What is the best way to live?"
I think it's strange to talk over this "problem" as it's not a problem at all...
Is it possible to difine right and wrong in this life? To consider what is the best thing to do and what is the worst one? how to choose the best career (it's impossible, I guess, for every person imagines himself/herself not at the same fields)? The same is communicating with people or finding himself in life.
For me, the best way to live means: to wake up in the morning and find myself healthy and ready to go at work (yes-yes I like my work but when everything turns out brilliant). I understand that for the majority of people the best way to live is to live without problems. But I think it's not right, as, first, it's impossible to live without problems (of all kinds)and, second, it will be not interesting to live without them at all.
The best way to live for me is also to live being always in LOVE and have a meaning of living. It's to live in such a way - to respect yourself for what you are.

Russian Jet Crash. My Condolences to the Parents Who lost Their Dearest People in it...

I was shocked and I'm still at this state since this Sunday (maybe becouse of it I didn't write anything)...
Russia is rather far from the US but the sorrow of the tragedy is also in my heart...
A simple Russian city that is near the Ural mountains became famous all over the world in one moment: passenger jet traveling from Moscow to the Ural Mountains city of Perm crashed while preparing to land early Sunday, killing all 88 people aboard, officials said. The pilots were so pofessional that were able to avoid some more victims on the ground. It was a real wonder, made by the pilots, as they could direct the burning plane away from buildings and it crashed into an unpopulated area of the city, just a few hundred yards from residential buildings on the railway, and some part of the Trans-Siberian railway was also shut down as a result of the rail damage.
Citizens of the U.S., France, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Latvia were among those killed...
I can't discribe my feelings now and my appearing phobia to flights.

For People with Bad Credit!

Surfing the internet I found out a useful information for me about credit cards. It's very important as I'm a credit cardholder and always very curious about rewards. But the following info made me thoughtful about the maintaining of my card account balances.
Credit debts, mortgage crisis, outstanding accounts and bills are ruining people's wallets and lives. These cardholders become financially challenged and they most probably could get bad credit card offers. The credit limit with unsecured credit cards for bad credit is up to the bank that gives it for people with bad credit who deserves it.
for people with bad credit
In fact, companies issuing credit cards for bad credit face financial risks when give bad credit unsecured credit cards. To compensate risks, credit cards for poor credit carry higher interest or fees.
Hmmm... So, better pay all bills and choose the right credit card!

It Looks Like the Deluge...

It's impossible to imagine how awful the situation of those people who became the victims of the deadly storms... Ufff... It's terrible! Haiti, Cuba, the Dominican Republic... who will be the next?!... All TV chanels are discussing these destructive storms, this mess, their consequences. Terrifying pictures of flooded streets, destroyed buildings, thousands helpless and homeless people suffering from starvation, fresh water, medicines, roof... It's impossible to find a space from the water even for helicopters to land supplies and aids... So, is it possible to survive from nature cataclysms? What is the way out?
I hope that the death-defying storm won't reach Florida and other state of the US...

I Kissed a Girl bla-bla

This song is everywhere. Including my head. It's stuck. I heard it on my way to work this morning I keep signing it the whole day. Does anyone know a good way to get rid of a tune stuck in the head?
And everyone is talking about this song, too. Including me. Everyone says it promotes homosexuality. Perry's parents are really upset. Who cares? No matter whether you promote homosexuality or you don't it's not going to affect the numbers of girls that like kissing girls. So why bother?

It's me Again

Hey, it's me again. You might ask me what the heck am I doing here? This an abandoned blog. No one has posted a single word since May!
Well, that's true. But I've decided to make on more attempt to become a blogger. Maybe sometime I will be able to make a decent blog that will attract readers as well as investors (he-he).
Well, it's me again and I am going to start this blog again NOW!

Global warming, heh

I am surprised. I am really surprised. Crowds of politicians, thousands of journalists, scientists and so on. And not even one sign of unity! Some of them believe in the threat of global warning urging their governments to decrease various emissions, others write tons of analysis proving that even if we have some warming we still live during quite cold (and even colder) period.
As for me I guess that the second position looks more truthful.
Let’s look at our planet and its history. Earth surface shows us the traces of numerous glacial periods when entire Europe was like tundra etc.
In this case modern climate is much warmer, yeah.
But let’s deep into records. The most obvious example here is Northern America and Greenland. What was the reasons of Vikings who called American land as Vinland (it’s somewhere near Labrador) and whose community had centuries of agriculture in Greenland? The reason is simple. Climate was warmer!
Which warming do they believe in when thus winter had shown snowfalls in Baghdad?
Moreover, humans are still nobody in face of actual global climate. Just a regional air and water movement – and Myanmar is dying under hurricane!
Very local earthquake near Bali and millions of people lost their houses.
Nooo…. All our factories and cars mean less than average volcanic eruption.
Yet we have only one tool of global importance. Nuclear power. This should frighten us and not old fridges!

I've been looking at some credit card websites. Some of thema very confusing. Very few of them offer real online credit card help. And that is what most people really need.

A Bit Of Sunlite In My Gloomy Resort

This morning I came out and was amazed at the fact that the spring is all around! The sun is shining madly at everything and it is so jolly around! The labour routine somehow have been keeping me off this beauty. So... I made up my mind to enter spring decently.
I'm going to eat no meat or oily food, veggies and fish instead, drink more water and go to a fitness club! Want to get fit for the summer season, as I've been sleeping too long.
The diet is already in effect and fitness is about to start next week. Wish good luck to me, cause I've never been so active and decisive before in my whole life!

Banking Crisis- Less Credit Card Offers in the Mail

We are all upset about this banking crisis but today I have come to the conclusion that ther are some positive results! According to Mail Monitor here has been less credit card applications sent to our mailboxes. Banks are afraid to lend money. Well, that's fine with me. I won't have to spend time shredding those credit card applications. And if I want one I can always go online and find the offer you need.
By the way, I have noticed that there has been letters from credit card companies lately.

Sunday or Mondey?

People hate Mondays. I don't. I hate Sundays. Monday is the beginning of the workweek. You can feel Friday somewhere in the distance. But Sundays...There is no hope on Sunday evening...

I've Been Thinking...

I've been thinking...What will become of America in 50 years? Thsi question is of great interest to me because I hope I will be still alive.
I've been thinking about the Roman Empire. They were so great and powerful once. But the barbarians came and everything fell apart. In today's world America is definitely the ROman Empire. But who will the Barbarians be? Hispanics? Arabs? Chinese?
I want to amke it clear that I do not want to offend anyone. By 'barbarian' I mean those who will rule the world after us. They will develop a new civilization, a civilization that will be better then ours.

Are We Really Screwed Up?

I don't like what I see on the news. The mortgage crisis, stock market fall, consumer debt - nothing positive out there. And here we are again - a credit card crisis.
The experts advice to apply for credit cards today before the banks raise the fees. I am not sure this is a good idea. With the situation on the job market I am not sure that I will have a steady income in the next half a year. I don't want to get trapped with late payment fees and high interest rates.
On the other hand, we are not going to have another Great Depression, are we? So why get upset about the things that might not ever happen.

Will Rock Music Ever Belong to Elite Culture?

I hear a lot of talking about elite culture and mass culture. What is mass (popualr) culture? Or, to be more precise, what is popualr art? And what is elite art?
Let's take a look at jazz. First it was played on the streets by poor black guys and now it is prestigious to attend jazz concerts. Jazz music is academic. It is studied and taught in special institutions. The elite of this country listens wither to Mozart or to jazz.
Why jazz? Why not rock music, for example. Will we ever consider rock music elite?
I have a feeling that the answer is no.

Ok. This Is My Last Try.

Ok. I'm gonna try this again. I'm gonna start writing on my blog. It's much harder than I thought it would be. May be because I am not organized...
That's it. I am not organized. I can not make a plan and stick to it. When I went to high school I could never turn in the assignment on time. My boss always says that I am unreliable. Oh well.
I've tried making written plans for the day but that never worked. May be it is some kind of a illness. Not a lethal one but serious enough to screw up one's life...
